Meet the Maker

Meet Gracie Quinones (She/Her), owner and maker behind Gemspell Jewellery. Originally from Havana, Cuba, now based in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia, Canada.

In her own words:

How was Gemspell born? One day I decided to start making jewelry as a creative outlet. I started by putting beads together to form simple earrings and bracelets. Then I took a silversmith class, and fell in love with the medium. There is something about metal smithing that comes natural to me and I feel in my element when playing with metal and fire. By incorporating gemstones in my designs I felt everything was coming together in a way that made sense to me and so Gemspell came to be.

The best quality:

I am proud to create high quality modern and timeless jewelry designed to last a lifetime. I get my inspiration from the beauty of gemstones and the natural elements that surround us. Many of my pieces feature gemstones and many are one of a kind. From dainty everyday earrings to one of a kind pieces that effortlessly make a statement, there is something for everyone in my collections.

From East to West to back to East:

Gracie is originally from Havana, Cuba. She was born and raised in an island surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. Many years ago she made her way to British Columbia, where Gemspell was born. Now she is back in the East Coast, in the beautiful Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia. Once again surrounded by her dear Atlantic Ocean.
